writers of "Zork." Paths lead off in different directions to destinations
around the globe. Many of these are duplicated on the departmental page,
but you shouldn't have to go all the way back there just to find out what
we are interested in. Choose a path and follow it, or go back inside to

The Food and Drug Administration site, with information on many microbes

Just a Web page of another lab, but a fun one. Probably not so fun
if your connection is slow or you don't have a graphical browser. Lots

Another major grant-provider and a source of a tremendous amount of
educational information.

This new organization is embarked on a fascinating mission: getting

Guidelines for mouse geneticists (which we occasionally pretend to
be) for naming your animals. No, "Fred" and "Vera" are not favored names

This is the standard database for researching topics in the peer-reviewed
biomedical literature. In addition to the articles' citations, you will
also find abstracts (summaries).

Web Pages
GCG is the primary software tool for analyzing sequence information
in molecular biology.

Information
In addition to hosting the Medline site above, the NCBI also has links
